About Lauren

I’m a graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and have practiced as a courtroom attorney in criminal cases for nearly a decade.  I began to struggle with stress, pressure, and a negative mindset from my demanding career.  I didn’t want to take medication so I explored alternatives and have found that breathwork helps a lot!  What I thought was my own weakness was actually vicarious trauma from my work and this modality has helped me process that on an ongoing basis. 

Presence is everything

In today’s world, it’s the power to appreciate the good, to see what’s really going on, and to make the best choices moving forward through this gift called life.

Presence means being free

Stress, pressure, and repressed emotions are stored in the body as tension, holding onto energy, and also thought patterns.

Breathwork clears the field

Somatic breathwork sends energy through the nervous system using very active breathing patterns and this helps to feel and release stuck energy.  The result is greater presence.
